Spring 2010 CSCI/MMAS 107: Introduction to Computers and Multimedia

Catalog Description

A survey of computer hardware and software, networking and the internet, the convergence of personal computers and consumer electronics, digital representation of sound and images, multimedia presentations and authoring. Includes formal labs to develop skills in useful computer applications such as spreadsheets, databases, internet browsers and multimedia design tools.

Delivery

There are two lecture sections for CSCI 107. CSCI107.001 meets Tuesday and Thusday from 9:25 to 10:15 in Robinson 217. CSCI107.002 meets Wednesday and Friday from 12:45 to 1:35 in Robinson 217. The instructor for the lecture section is Rebecca Bruce.


There will be two lab sections for CSCI 107 taught by Charles Massey. One will meet on Tuesday from 3:10 to 5:40, and the other will meet on Wednesday from 4:40 to 6:40.
