Mom and Dad as we children called them
Grandmammy and Poppa as  all the gradnchildfren called them
Col and Mrs. Massey as the Military called them
Dr and Mrs. Massey as the Colleges called them
Rev. and Mrs. Massey as the churches called them
Emily and Charley as their friends called them

Mom went quietly and peacefully to be withh the Lord while my sisters, Carolyn and Joyce were singing to her by her bedside.  She was the most amazing wife to Dad, mother to us children and friend to the World.

We miss her terribly, but know that she is either directing or singing in God's choir of angels .

Dad joined Mom in heaven as Carolyn, Joyce, David and I were with him in Tampa. He and Mom were a team that affected lives all over the world as they traveled, complements of the US Army. We will miss Dad as the Patriarch of his 4 children, our spouses, 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Along with many of his friends, all 33 of us were at his memorial service where we celebrated his life. But we know that he is happy to finally be with the two of the great loves of his life...his Lord and his wife! It is at least satisfying to know that someday we will all be joined together in Heaven with them as a family once again.
