This is the UNC Clef Hangers Fall 2000 concert (the 2000 tickets sold out in 2 days). Kevin is the Musical Director. He shares an apartment with the redhead on the right, the shaved head guy in the front and the head behind the shaved head. Once again a great concert. I am proud to say that many of the former "Clef hanger" members who return every year, have said that the last two years have probably been the best musically that they have had. The voices and of course Kevin's directing has contributed to that. One of the former members took these two pictures.
Here Kevin is making the girls swoon by singing the oldie goldie, "Unchanged Melody". When he went up and held those very high notes, there were "ahhhhs" and "oooos" all over the concert hall! They were putty in his hands!!
During their Fall breaks, they usually stay in the US ,but went up to Toronto Canada this year. The previous two Spring breaks they went to Wales. This year they are going to try to make it to Austrailia. (Why Australia????? maybe because it's THERE!)
Below is Kevin's Senior Picture. We can not believe that he will be graduating in May. Kevin and two other guys were in all the musicals and theatrical productions in high school. One of them was always the musical director and went on to graduate from an acting school in New York. He is still there and is supporting himself by giving acting and singing lessons. Matt, the third of the threesome, is one of Kevins best buddies and will probably share and apartment in New York while they attempt to make their mark "on Stage" in the Big Apple next year. Matt and Kevin rotated having the lead parts in the theater productions all four years in High School. Matt has had parts on the TV show Dawson Creek and is in a TV movie coming out in February on ABC.
Graduate school is still in the picture, after the stage trials in NY. Grauation Day is May 20 if you can make it up here. BY THE WAY. Don't mention anything about the above two pictures to Kevin. The guy who sent them, wants them to be his Christmas Present., But I couldn't wait to Christmas to show you the pictures.
