Advanced Mechatronic Design Lab / Robotics Project

Description

This course has a goal: Building a robot for the IEEE SoutheastCon 2013 student hardware competition. To achieve that goal, we’ll need to learn a bit about project management, design modularization, programming, image processing, machining, sensors, communications, and whatever else is required.

Delivery

Plenary meetings for the course will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM in Robinson 217. However, teams of students will be expected to meet at other times. The course instructor is J. Dean Brock. J. Dean Brock is Professor of Computer Science at UNCA and an Interinstitutional Adjunct faculty member with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at NCSU.
