Homework 5

The time has come. In homework number 3, you wrote the TCP client. Now, write the TCP server. In order to prevent port conflicts, run your application at the port number obtained by adding 7000 to your userid.

Homework 6

Do the following problems from the textbook:

The file usr/local/csci/363/linux-ip/ip.c contains the modules of the Linux operating system kernel that implement IP fragmentation and defragementation.

Write a page describing how Linux uses two different types of queues to manage IP fragmentation.
