The University of Texas Information Security Office identified two “Verified Vulnerable Web Page” alerts to our campus over the break. Here are links to the pages.

For a historical look at CGI scripting, connect to the following directory on the CSCI workstations: /home/brock/public_html/scripts/. Keep in mind that client-side JavaScript has supplanted server-side CGI, but that is a topic for another course. However, do look at the difference between the old and new. Use the source! Look!

By the way, the last version of CGI programming in Perl was published in 2000. You can view it on-line at the UNC Asheville library.

Pi Wi-Fi

Take your favorite Pi home. Grab one of those USB WiFI adapters and try to connect your Pi to your home WiFi. I just followed the instructions in the Setting WiFi up via the command line page.

Skim through the following sections of the textbook Exploring Raspberry Pi. You can also read very similar material in Exploring Beagle which is available on-line from the UNC Asheville library.
