This assignment must be uploaded HW 10 on moodle by 5:10 PM on 12 April.
The problems
Chapter 7
Do Exercise 7.4 for the jal instruction
which is like the j instruction but stores
PC+4 into register $pc.
However, don’t get carried away with carefully modifying
Figure 7.22 and Table 7.8. Just make a little drawing
of the parts and fields that need to be changed.
Chapter 8
Complete the following problems. Assume the addresses are 32-bit MIPS addresses.
