Spring 2002 ENGR 212 / CSCI 311 Homework 3
Problem 2
Use the duality theorem to transform the following two Boolean identities
into two other identities.
- w' x' + w' x y + w x + w x' y' + x' y = w + x' + y
- a b + a b' c + c = a b + c
The problem asked you to find the dual of the identity,
not to prove the identity.
- (w' + x') (w' + x + y) (w + x) (w + x' + y') (x' + y) = w x' y
- (a + b) (a + b' + c) c = (a + b) c
