Convert the binary number 11001100 into a decimal number.

Problem 3. (20 points)

Convert -100 into a ten-bit two's complement binary number.

Problem 4. (20 points)

Convert the decimal number 15.15 into a floating point number with one sign bit, an eight-bit exponent expressed using excess-127 notation, and a 23-bit mantissa.

Problem 5. (20 points)

Describe how to construct an 8-to-1 multiplexer from three 4-to-1 multiplexers. Do not draw any gate level pictures of the 4-to-1 multiplexer. Instead use a block diagram similar to that seen below.
