CSCI 255: Computer Organization


Organization of digital computers including data representation, logic design and architectural features needed to support high-level languages. Includes a formal laboratory section using circuit design tools.


Lectures for CSCI 255 are delivered in Robinson 217 on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:25 AM to 10:40 AM. Students will attend one of the two labs. The labs will meet in Robinson 217 on Wednesdays. One lab is scheduled from 4:10 PM to 5:50 PM; and the other from 6:00 PM to 7:40 PM.

The instructor for the lecture section is J Dean Brock, Professor and Chair of Computer Science. The labs are jointly led by Dean Brock and Rebecca Bruce, Professor of Computer Science and Associate Director of Engineering.
