This lab will test your ability to use Java's conditional statements and relational operators while you draw even more flags. Yes, it's just like the other flag lab but this time there are more flags.
Download FlagAgain.zip, a ZIP file containing a NetBeans project named
FlagAgain and unZIP this project
into your csci/201 directory.
Try to make your Projects panel look
something like the following picture before continuing.
Go ahead and build and run the project. Nothing interesting will happen. Take a look at the code. If you can't remember how it works, review the Conditional Execution and Relational Operators lab.
This time there are nine flags for you to attempt. We don't expect you to get them all, but we do expect you to keep trying. Some of these are pretty hard. You might want to get together with a couple of people at the board and do some drawing before you do some coding.
Each of these files also contain comments that should help you get the officially sanctioned colors and proportions for each flag.
The last flag "Your Land" is for you to just make up some flag for yourself.
Show your lab instructor some flags. If you worked with a partner on a flag or two, be sure to give them credit.
