Syllabus for UNCA CSCI 363 -- Fall 1999

The instructor for CSCI 363 is Dean Brock. The course will meet on Tuesday and Thursday from 12:15 PM to 1:30 PM in Karpen 011. The textbook for the course will be Computer Networks and Internets (Second Edition), written by Douglas Comer and published by Prentice-Hall (ISBN 0-13-083617-6).

Grades

Grades will be based on a combination of graded homework, two in-class tests, and one final exam. The weights given to the various forms of graded material are:

Unless your are told otherwise, homework assignments are expected to be the result of your own individual effort. Copying and sharing of programming assignments is not allowed.

CSCI 202, Introduction to Data Structures, is the prerequisite for this course. It is assumed that you can program in C++ or C competently!
