You have 75 minutes to complete this section of the exam. You
will need to use the man command on
bulldog.unca.edu to answer most of these questions If the
output of the mancommand is being scrambled, type the
following command

What command would you use to list all lines of the file
paper.txt that do not contain the

Problem 4 -- 25 points
This is a multi-part problem. Do not write your answer for this
question on this paper. Your answer will be submitted in an email
message.
- Connect to your home directory and create a subdirectory called
final171.
- Connect to th final171 subdirectory and create
within it three files called moe, larry, and
curly. Each file should be different and each should
contain three lines of text.
- Now create a subdirectory called stooges and
copy the three files you created in the preceding step
into stooges.
- Reconnect to your home directory and type the following command
- tar cfv fin171.tar ./final171
to create a file called fin171.tar.
- Compress the file fin171.tar using either of the two
compress programs we discussed in class.
- Mail the compressed file to brock@cs.unca.edu as an
attachment to an email message.
