Problem 2

Convert the following decimal numbers to binary:

Problem 3

Convert the following numbers into 10-bit 2's complement binary numbers:

• -500
• 254
• -1

Problem 4

Show how to approximate the number 19.95 as a floating point number using a 23-bit mantissa, a 1-bit sign, and an 8-bit mantissa using excess-127 notation.

Homework #5 -- Due November 2

Use diglog to implement the sequential circuit you designed in Problem 2 of Homework #2 using either D or JK flipflops.
