Cove Boat Ramp and Picnic Area

On Badin Lake, 15 miles northwest of Troy, North Carolina on FR 597B.
Access:
From Highway 109 northwest of Uwharrie, follow signs to Cove Boat Ramp and Badin Lake.
Narrative:
Cove Boat Ramp offers access to Badin Lake for both motorized and non-motorized craft. A large parking area is available for vehicles and trailers.
Attractions and Considerations:
A picnic area is located at Cove Boat Ramp with tables, grills and toilet facilities. Badin Lake Hiking Trail is made up of two loops: one 5.6 miles and the other short loop of 2.5 miles. The trail begins just to the right of the boat ramp and continues around the Lake Shore. Fishing opportunities are also good around the cove area.
