Hazanet Project Decision Issued June 9, 2003

The Decision Notice for the Hazanet Project, Compartments 25-35 on the Cheoah Ranger District, Nantahala National Forest was issued on June 9, 2003.   Below you will find electronic copies of the decision notice, project maps, response to comments received, plus the original environmental assessment and related documents that were released for public comment in April of this year. These documents are in PDF format. Because these documents are long and contain detailed graphics, file sizes are quite large.  Those with slower internet connections may have difficulty viewing them and we recommend downloading the files first before opening them.  To do this,  right click on the pdf file name and choose "save target as" and download the file to your computer.  Make sure  the file name  includes .pdf  at the end.  Then you should be able to view and print the pdf file directly from your computer.
